Cannes Film Festival 2010: How much trouble did Lindsay Lohan really get into?

It appears that Hollywood darling Lindsay Lohan will be travelling to Cannes this weekend with a view to promoting Inferno, the new movie/biopic about Linda Susan Boreman (aka Linda Lovelace).

But if Lindsay does make it down this way, it will be on her own dime. A Page-Six report in the New York Post says the press-hungry actress has been trying to swing a freebie to the film festival to drum up business and interest for her new Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno. Sadly, no one seems overly interested in paying her way.

LiLo is probably just a bit miffed that she may be missing out on the biggest shindig of the year. She is definitely no stranger to Cannes though, raising a few eyebrows in 2008 when she very publicly paraded around with then-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
