Robots Invade LA at VEX World Championship
SUBMITTED BY: GuestOn May 2-3 at Cal State Northridge, there is going to be a robotic showdown. Hundreds of students from around the globe are coming together to compete with robots created from the VEX Robotics Design System. Participating teams work months prior to the championship with mentors and coaches to build a robot using the VEX Robotics Design System and available VEX accessories to play the game Bridge Battle (the event challenge). The goal is to build a robot that will outperform and complete the game better than their opponents.
The kids not only have fun building their robots leading up to the competition, but they’re also learning about science, technology, engineering and math in the process.
Any robotic enthusiast is welcome to come and watch the competition inside Cal State Northridge's Matadome Gym.
