LA2DAY At: Jumpstart's Read for the Record
By LA2DAY FOR LA2DAY.COM 06 Oct 2008

It didn't happen at night and it didn't take place in a bar or a club, but this last week, LA2DAY preferred to spend its time at Jumpstart's Read for the Record, the cross country world-record breaking event wherein over 400,000 people read the classic children's story Corduroy by Don Freeman. Whilst featured on The Today Show and read by Matt Lauer and Mary-Louise Parker, here in Los Angeles, readers included Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Gabrielle Union and The Hills' Lauren "Lo" Bosworth. LA2DAY's Karen Curley took the snaps.
