Kick-Ass Party: Double Dog Dare Halloween
BY Jimmy Nomatés FOR LA2DAY.COM Nov 4, 2008

Taking the Halloween notion of "it's cool to dress like a fool" to astronomical heights, the LA2DAY crew set off last weekend for the Halloween party to beat all Halloween parties, organized by Double Dog Dare Events. Founder Ted Shred (yes, that's his real name) is known throughout Hollywood as the "King of Extreme Themes", and mate - did he deliver!
So it was with tremendous excitement that we rolled onto the sprawling Palos Verdes Estates, ready to rock out with our c*ck out - forgive the expression, ladies.
Unfortunately a bunch of douchebags, ehem, city officials, decided to remove thousands of dollars worth of decorations mere days before the party (assholes). Despite these events, party-host Sheryl Iannitti (and owner of this fine Palos Verdes Estate property) is considering running for City Council to get the Planning Department back on track!

All this ruckus, however, did not detract from what was one of the most impressive events we've witnessed in a long time, with gigantic killer klowns and stretched out laser-tasers as the backdrop to this stunning party. Outrageous visual effects and pure rock ‘n roll spirit won out, as hundreds of party-goers danced into the night.
The entire event was stylishly organized and brilliantly coordinated, allowing for a smooth arrival and clusterfuck free entry to what can only be described as the biggest Halloween celebration EVER! From the hundred-meter-long, winding, black maze of an entrance, to the body painted dancers it was hard to pick a highlight. Although the majority of our votes would go to the dancers!!
Roll on Halloween 2009!
