Grand Opening: "Gibson Through The Lens"-photo exhibition at the Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas

 

Setting Up

At the Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas on Wednesday night, July 30th, music icons and art fans came out to celebrate "Gibson Through The Lens", a photo exhibition consisting of 60's and 70's rock icons with their Gibson guitars.

The exhibition has traveled the world, starting in London, then Paris, Berlin, New York, and now ending in Los Angeles on its international tour.

The event was also celebrating the Hotel's Grand Opening of its brand new Villas and Presdential Villas, which will no doubt house plenty of celebrity guests.

Celebrity guests included Billy Mumy (Lost in Space), director Cameron Crowe, James Denton (Desperate Housewives), John Oates (Hall & Oates), all band members of Sweet, The Scorpions, Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Justine Bateman, and Scott Weiland.

Stellar performances by Billy Gibbons and John Oates, and the always brilliant and talented Stevie Wonder made his special appearance on stage.
