Show Patrol: Gram Rabbit Casts a Spell. Jonathan Denmark Makes Hip Hop Blush

The Big Show:
Gram Rabbit and Pop Levi at the Troubador
Joshua Tree's electro-twang rock group is a sight to behold. Jessica von Rabbit heads this group of eclectic (to put it mildy), costumed musicians.

A night spent front and center will undeniably tap into your darker side. Let's just put it this way, when you go see a band with an electronic dance song called "Bloody Bunnies," and a lead singer who cites sexy witchcraft as a hobby, it's best to leave the kiddies (and the pets) at home.

The Underground Radar:
Jonathan Denmark at El Cid

This Saturday, say hello to the Silent Breakbeat Assassin. Straight from Canadia-land, Jonathan Denmark's alternative rap is slowly but surely infiltrating the Silverlake music scene. His Hip Hop love songs, peppered with witty doomsday self-deprecation, have gained quite the following.
Maybe it's his unapologetic stylistic originality, or maybe he's just a brooding heartbreaker, but something keeps us coming back for more.
