We Hate: This Shirt
By Jeremy Tarr FOR LA2DAY.COM 14 May 2008

If the saying is true, and a picture is indeed worth a thousand words, then it shouldn't take the necessary editorial requirement of 250 to 500 to persuade you into understanding why we hate the Curious George/Barack Obama t-shirt.
The item is on sale at Mulligan's Food & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia, an establishment that, though clearly racist, is equal-opportunity in its liberal loathing, having also promoted the tavern with a sign reading "I wish Hillary had married O.J."
The owner of Mulligan's, Mike Norman, insists he's not a bigot, having been quoted in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as saying, "Look at him [Obama]... the hairline, the ears, he looks just like Curious George."
I've written 113 words in addition to the one-thousand the photo has provided - do you really need any more language to understand why we hate, and why we think you too should hate, a fashion statement built not on politics, but on racism?
