Divine Rights of Denim Does Everything Right

I adore my new Lust skinny jeans from Divine Rights of Denim (DRD). The seam runs from your hip in towards the knee and ends on the top of your foot rather than at the side of your ankle. The unique design creates a long and lean leg, even for this 5'4" shortie.

Audrina Patridge of The Hills is the face of the denim line's Spring/Summer ‘09 ads and it's rare that a website stops me in my tracks anymore, but DRD's site did just that. Santigold's spaceage Starstruck starts on autoplay when you enter and I was rendered powerless to leave the site until I'd heard the entirety of the dark, electronic, rock track.

I'd like to think it was just the music that kept me around, but in all honesty, Audrina lying half-naked in a pile of fluffy white sheets might have had something to do with it too.

Compliments on a curvy figure are a dime a dozen, but I take notice when my straight guy friends start complimenting the detailings of my jeans. I paired my DRD's with a tight black summer top on a recent night out in Santa Monica and a friend (he shall remain nameless to protect his manhood) took note of "that sexy zipper on the bottom of your jeans."

The entire line retails for under $100. Check out the DRD website to find out where you can grab a pair.
