Living in Los Angeles, there are so many trends in all directions. From style to spirituality, you can be pulled in many ways, as you try not to lose yourself in the process. Whether it's getting your chakra balanced, losing yourself in the music or even an impromptu road trip, there's plenty of ways to get that little bit of inner peace we all strive for and LA2DAY is here to help guide the way. Our latest discovery, Energy Muse, brings some of the most unique jewelry we've ever encountered and provides the best in both beauty of the body and the mind, which combine to create a truly powerful effect when worn.

It seems almost everywhere you go, people are wearing unnecessary jewelry, which usually represents both vanity and money. Energy Muse is different. Created by life-long California friends, Heather Askinosie and Timmi Jandro, the duo have created a way to bring out a desired result thorough the creative (and powerful) design of their jewelry, which also happens to be incredibly fashionable.

"The first thing is that people actually wear the jewelry and they really do get results, otherwise they wouldn't be wearing them," Timmi explained. "When we joined forces, we both loved to sell, we both trusted each other, so we pounded the streets of Manhattan Beach and sold Love, Prosperity, and Grounding out of the trunks of our cars. We went to celebrity parties and people would be like ‘Hey, do you have any of that Prosperity?'. We were like pushers, basically getting people stoned off energy and they loved it."

She was dead on. Soon, we found out for ourselves after setting forth on our own Energy Muse experience, each wearing a different necklace.

The first, was a "luck" necklace, which was created with black tourmalinated quartz (a stone of great ‘wealth' and ‘luck') and a dash of heishe shells (which is a recognized symbol for new beginnings). The other was for "prosperity," where aventurine, a stone which is supposed to infuse great luck into all business and creative endeavors is strung together with the color red, to create a classic piece that really works a well as it looks. Most Energy Muse necklaces and bracelets all come with an authentic Chinese coin, which are estimated to be anywhere from 100-500 years old and promise to attract wealth, luck and endless opportunity. "The coins are all ancient and when you touch and feel them, they have the energy of money, because that's how they were used," Timmi told us.

We road-tested these new necklaces and were amazed to see some real results, which seemingly seeped out of the ethos at the Electric Daisy Carnival, or playing the round of our lives at The Pelican Hill Resort and we won't soon forget Swimming with Sharks on the Fourth of July.

"When people wear stones that they pick and they have a clear intention of what they want to create - it helps shift things very fast," Heather said.

The First Ladies of Spiritual Power showed us another side of Energy Muse as we set out on a stone reading, performed by Heather. The results were incredibly accurate, and the energy was flowing so well between us all that soon ideas were coming left and right about endless Energy Muse and LA2DAY collaborations - - Afro Funke', do you hear us calling?

"Reading the energy of the stones - they really tell you what's going on in your subconscious mind," Heather added.

The secret and power of Energy Muse is certainly out among our fellow tastemakers too. Energy Muse is set to team up with rocker Richie Sambora once again on a new necklace and also seemed keen to collaborate on a reggae-inspired piece with our mutual favorite musicians, Thievery Corporation. "We are lifestyle, we're Californians, and we crossed the bridge of being just a New-Age sort of thing, so we wouldn't still be here if the stuff didn't work," Timmi said. "We've lasted because we're authentic and can add lasting value to people's lives."

Plenty of value and energy has already been added to our lives from wearing these wondrous works of art. We know the journey has only just begun as we continue to tap into our warriors within, but we now come armed and ready, Energy Muse by our side, to fight the good fight.
