Questionnaire: Shannon Rowland
By Jeremy Tarr FOR LA2DAY.COM 20 Jul 2008

Photographer Shannon Rowland wore a black dress and black boots in the eighty degree Los Angeles weather whilst shooting LA2DAY's original fashion photo-spread Lives of the Paper Dolls. Though soft-spoken, and often sporting a cheeky smile, she readily directs the two models. She prances through the brush, her heavy boots colliding with foliage, pushing aside spiked branches, looking for the light, a model wearing but knickers behind her, happy to follow.
The shoot ended as the light declined, the sun colliding with the mountains, and the result of her work proved to be swimmingly delightful. Now as she prepares for a second original LA2DAY shoot, Rowland sits down to discuss Betty Page, Crocs and word-inscribed sweatpants.
Who is the most stylish person you've met? My boyfriend, his style matches his personality: dark.
Who is the most stylish person in history? Betty Page! She had a great personality, great bangs and she was an adorable sex symbol!
|
Who is the least stylish person in the world? Anyone who wears Crocs, especially the ones bedazzled with five dollar-a-piece trinkets along with their matching Croc cell phone holders. Who is the least stylish person in history? Hillary Clinton What is your least favourite article of clothing? Every pair of pants I own. In which period of history do you think people dressed the worst? The 90s, but there are a few things I like that have come from that time, like Doc Martens. Is there one item that is in style that you wish would go out? All baggy sweatpants with words printed on the butt. |
What are you wearing right now? Floral dress with Moccasin boots.
What do you wish you were wearing right now? My grandma dress and black motorcycle boots.
Are you afraid of Anna Wintour? Only if she showed up at my front door wearing baggy "Juicy" sweatpants and matching pink Crocs, this would definitely be the sign of the apocalypse.
Watch for Shannon Rowland's next photo-spread this Saturday on LA2DAY.
