Questionnaire: Rickard Shah

For the longest time the word Blahnik lingered from mouth to foot, Jimmy Choo soon too brought spring to step and now Louboutin seems to be painting towns, and soles, red. Women's stockings are littered with these brands - all fine indeed -, but let's now add a new label to the wondrous artistry of women's cordwainery, and slip your silken foot in the Cinderella slipper donning the name of Rickard Shah.

(Elizabeth) Rickard (and Binith) Shah have created classic, yet whimsically modern shoes to be worn in the French Court of Maria Theresa or the Presidential Palace of Carla Bruni; they are to be danced in by Josephine Baker in the halls of Budapest or on stage at the Orpheum by Katy Perry; they are to be sipped champagne from by Zelda Fitzgerald or chugged Jack Daniels by Kate Moss. To put it simply, these are very pretty shoes.

And today their makers sit down to answer our Questionnaire and discuss Obama, Alba and shoes (naturally).
