James Jaeger, the twenty-something photographer behind last week's stunning LA2DAY pictorial, Thelma est bien, Louise est mal, has only be shooting for two years, but has already developed a keen eye and a honed style.

Recently relocated to Los Angeles, Jaeger is a renaissance man when it comes to his spreads, immersing himself in everything from styling to grip-work to building his own sets in his downtown studio. He's an admirer of the photographic form, viewing it beyond fashion to impressions of art, seeing it as an exploration of the "controversial ways of expression." Today we sit down with Jaeger to discuss Woody Allen, his broken air conditioning and socks. Who is the most stylish person in the world? Jean-Luc Godard.
