It seems that the hottest trend in Hollywood these days are baby bumps.  For the past few years, Hollywood starlets have been having babies left and right.  Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Gardner, Marcia Cross, Kate Hudson...just to name a few.  Designer maternity clothes, posh baby products, and lavish baby showers are currently filling the pages of UsWeekly and People magazine.  Paparazzi follow them eating, shopping, sleeping, driving...damn near everywhere!  The baby is actually what keeps us "nosey folk" interested.  And we all know that once the bumps are gone, the babies take the spotlight.  So, I thought I'd take a look at a few of the celebs who are currently sporting baby bumps. 

Nowadays, it's not just 20 year-old women who are expecting.  Women in their 20s, 30s and even 40s are having children...

20s - Christina Aguilera

Though everyone noticed the baby bump getting bigger and bigger, the 26 year-old pop singer didn't officially announce her pregnancy until recently.  Over the past six months, the songstress let the paparrazzi do all the talking as they spotted her at Bel Bambini baby boutique and the kids section at Kitson.  As she flaunts her pregnancy in an upcoming issue of Marie Claire, Christina tells the magazine why she kept her pregnancy a secret from her audience: "I was paranoid. There are so many things that could go wrong - somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show. I didn't want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, ‘Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be OK?'"  The baby boy is due early next year.

30s - Jennifer Lopez

The 38 year-old singer/actress/dancer and her husband Marc Anthony have been trying for a baby for a couple of years.  The couple officially announced that Jennifer was pregnant in Miami during the final stop of their El Cantante Tour.  Sources say that the two sought artificial medical help in July when they couldn't conceive naturally.  Because of the treatments success, they may be expecting twins next Spring. 

40s - Halle Berry

Many men have had dreams of getting Halle Berry pregnant.  Now, that dream has become reality for the 41 year-old beauty's current beau, Gabriel Aubry, whom she met on the set of a Versace ad campaign in 2005.  The Oscar winner revealed in April that her life would not be complete until she became a mother.  She was determined to become a mother in the year 2007, even if it meant adopting.  Halle and Gabriel were able to conceive naturally and the baby is due next Spring.

Being pregnant is the "in" thing to be?  Personally, I'd rather be a loser.
