Just For Kicks with The People's Shoe

I had the pleasure of helping out at The People's Shoe Just For Kicks charity event at the Los Angeles Mission on a recent Saturday afternoon.

Anton Brandt, founder of The People's Shoe, put together a tremendously successful day of live music, free food, medical attention, side-walk-chalk-art, haircuts, and of course, free shoes, for the people down on Skid Row.

Photographer Mike Allen was on hand to capture some of the day’s preparation and setup before the event kicked off.

Dezi Catarino put together an awesome video of the day that you can see HERE.
