Boutique: LeSportsac
By Marisa Lynch FOR LA2DAY.COM 03 Oct 2008

Move over Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs, a new kid in town has joined the Melrose Place ranks...LeSportsac has chosen the chic West Hollywood shopping district as the location for its first free standing boutique in LA.
Find an array of LeSportsac classics like the deluxe shoulder satchel or the travel tote among newer Stella McCartney for LeSportsac, GUYS' and Artist in Residence collections in the almost 1600 square foot store.
The floors are covered in signature LeSportsac blue tiling and the globe lighting throughout is by iconic Louis Poulsen, giving the store a retro 70s feel. The brown wood accents and white fixtures that feature the bags tie into the line's 1970s origins that are reminiscent of the Brady Bunch's vintage living room or TWA's airline terminal at JFK.
B. Free (the tag name for Dutch artist Merijn Hos) is the Fall 08 designer for the Artist in Residence collection and has designed 5 silhouettes for the season perfect to carry your computer in or take home your Whole Foods groceries.
With the holidays around the corner, LeSportsac's Melrose store will be the ideal place to grab your best friend a Leigh bag in Checkit print or get Dad a Brake Messenger bag in Ash - the Tessa bag in the Lakeside print may have to be an early Christmas gift to yourself.
