Boutique: Footcandy

I look around and focus on the most beautiful pair of Loeffler Randall platform sandals that I've ever laid eyes on. Before I know it a pair of rose embellished Giuseppe Zanotti heels catch my eye and then I see a pink python peep-toe pair of Alexander McQueens, complete with ankle straps. Is this that dream where I'm in the Vogue fashion closet again? No, I'm in Footcandy, the Brentwood shoe boutique that gives that closet a run for their money.

Owners Robyne Wilson and Xiomara Zelaya have created a fashion footwear Mecca full of some of the most celebrated names in shoes - Choo, Louboutin, and Blahnik, to name a few. A pink awning welcomes you inside the boutique that is full of white chandeliers and velvet chairs that give you a Parisian feel straight from the set of Sofia Coppola's ‘Marie Antoinette.'

Footcandy

What sets Footcandy apart from shoe shopping anywhere else is the intimate experience and personal touches that are provided by Wilson and Zelaya. Each shoe is displayed in window boxes like pieces of art and when purchased are toted away in pink striped shopping bags. Does Nordstrom send out thank you notes after you purchase your size 9 Sergio Rossi's? I think not.

A treat filled menu full of customized private parties is also an option at Footcandy. Throw your bachelorette party here with the Bridal ‘Sweet' package where the girls can enjoy champagne, and SusieCakes cupcakes while privately shopping in the store. That's one party that I don't want to end.

If you're a shoe aficionado looking to add to your summer open-toed mule collection, Footcandy is the perfect fit.
