Boutique: Whatever Lola Wants

LOLA, L-O-L-A, LOLA. You'll be humming the Kinks tune as you walk into the new La Brea boutique Whatever Lola Wants full of Fifi Chachnil lingerie, Linda Farrow Vintage sunglasses and Arena CPH jewelry because you too will have fallen for LOLA.

Whatever Lola Wants

Complete with electric pink floors, navy velvet ottomans and multiple chandeliers, you'll want to ‘drink champagne and dance all night under electric candlelight,' at the spot opened by former stylist Lola Elmo.

The accessory mecca is full of international finds that Elmo herself scours the world for. Where else can you find belts from Italy (Collection Privee L'uxe), lingerie from Paris (Huit) and jewelry from Amsterdam (Margit Seland) in one place without leaving the 323 area code? I'll hold.

Velvet lined, custom made lucite cases are scattered throughout the store with Swarovski crystal drawer pulls that feature Flos & Florem earrings while the walls are complete with lucite shelving and a circular white display featuring Kooba handbags and heels by Mink.

Whatever Lola Wants

Elmo created her ‘dream spot' in the space and filled it with a mix of modern and eclectic furnishings with a pink and navy color palette giving off a sultry femme fatale vibe.

It is a one stop shop where you can go in a blank canvas wearing a tank and jeans, and come out looking like a piece of art with a stunning Jesse Kamm silk scarf, fierce Matthew Williamson sunglasses and a glam clutch.

Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets, right? In that case, I'm changing my name to Lola.

THE MUST BUY: Patent Mary Janes by Jenne O ($565)
