Tonight, March 31st, the folks at Saltistry - an LA based spice company specializing in exotic salts-are hosting a unique dinner debuting this surprisingly multi-faceted mineral.
For just a paltry $25, you can tempt your palate with delicious gourmet selections such as Grilled Flank Steak with Smoked-Chili Salt that highlight chef Joni Fay Hill's spectacular infused salts. Tangerine, chili, coconut, and lime are just some of the wild flavors this food artist has managed to merge into our old school staple seasoning.
"As a former chef, Joni approaches artisanal salt from a cook's perspective, meticulously handcrafting her salt infusions in small batches to create a depth of flavor while preserving the texture and integrity of each grain.
