FANCILY-MADE VESSELS!

ROBERT KUO, 8686 Melrose Ave., is featuring objets de vase called Peking glass. Here’s how it’s made: "A hollow glass is formed from layers upon layers of glass by either free-blowing or mold-blowing and then sent it to the jade carvers for shaping and polishing." Classic, functional, yet hint of bulbous fun, and very shiny.

SECOND TIME AROUND WATCH COMPANY, 8840 Beverly Boulevard, will be kickin’ it up old school (does anyone still wear a watch?) At any rate, they will be "happy to examine your watch and provide a free verbal appraisal.” Not only that, you will receive a “special watch polishing cloth” though it’s best if you grab grampa’s pocket watch and get there first: supplies are limited.
