Power and Motion: The Photographs of Nigel Skeet , opens this Friday at Gallery 819. A collection of the photographer's acclaimed photographs of rock stars, motorcycles, and horses will be the centerpiece of an evening that includes a performance by Steel Train (with guests Jason Cook, Ryan Crosby, and Jon Peter Lewis), a silent auction, and the ever popular open bar feature. Be careful, though... the event is co-sponsored by Patron. The last thing you want to do is have a little too much tequila and find yourself attempting to ride the guests of honor. By far the coolest part about this event is the four legged attendees: a bevy of horses borrowed from Dude's Ranch , an equine sanctuary in Santa Clarita.
